A well-established community health organization in New Haven County is seeking an infectious disease physician to join their established team. Job Function: Infectious Disease chief looking to have additional physician join the growing team HIV, Hepatitis main services care for, opportunity to follow patients for primary care Organization is an FQHC offering primary care, behavioral health and dental health services Monday-Friday schedule 8am-4:30pm Call schedule: 9 weeks out of the year (every 5-6 weeks) to carry pager during week and work for 4 hours on a Saturday for extra pay Average of 18-20 patients scheduled per day, expect some no-shows Approximately 1 RN for every 2 providers and support from medical assistants This is a full time permanent position with FREE health insurance for individuals AND families, federal tort malpractice, CME, PTO and a profit sharing program after 1 year of employment
