We are actively seeking General Medicine Providers for locum tenens coverage across the country, with positions available near HENDERSON, MD. Opportunity Details: Availability: This position offers flexible PRN coverage, providing ongoing opportunities to align your professional commitments with personal priorities.Specialties Accepted: We welcome professionals from various medical backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.Coverage Options: Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and/or scheduling appointments within your own practice, offering autonomy and convenience tailored to your preferences.Shift Options: Enjoy the flexibility of working either days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours), accommodating your schedule and lifestyle.Exam Details: Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.Credentialing: Benefit from a streamlined credentialing and onboarding process, ensuring a quick start to your assignments.DMA Certification: Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.Equipment: Utilize a Goniometer and your personal laptop (NO MACs) during examinations.Training: Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accurate completion and adherence to standardized procedures.Reporting: Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, focusing on standardized form(s) completion rather than narrative reports.Evaluation Process: Utilize the provider portal for efficient completion of evaluations and documentation.Record Review: Active participation in record reviews required to maintain thorough patient assessments and documentation.Administrative Work: Regular follow-up administrative tasks include addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to uphold comprehensive patient records.Providers Needed: Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, contributing to the collective effort to support Veterans nationwide.
