Overview

We are seeking a Medical Director to lead an Occupational Health & Urgent Care clinic in Los Angeles, CA. This clinic-based role blends direct patient care with medical leadership, offering physicians the opportunity to shape outcomes, drive quality improvements, and grow professionally.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Lifestyle: No nights, weekends, or holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and set the standard for clinical excellence.
• Lead and supervise clinicians and support staff (including APCs).
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Drive quality improvement and clinic growth.
• Manage staffing levels and APC supervisory requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with payers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to clinic performance metrics and budget awareness.
• Foster a collaborative, safe, and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license (California)
• DEA & dispensing license (required before start)
• Eligible for Medicare participation
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Board Certification/Eligibility in ABMS or AOA specialty preferred
