Locum Anesthesiologist needed in Western NE for a medium size hospital. Looking for a full time ongoing candidate only at this time but will consider 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or PRN weekly candidates. Must have PALs and clean background. Case Mix: thoracic, major vas, OB, trauma, pediatrics, neuro, ortho 9-10 CRNAs and 4-5 MDs when fully staffed. 5 OR's, 1 Ob Suite, and 1 Endo center. Running from 7a-3p, 3 OR's running from 3p-5p. CRNAs work autonomously including working doing regionals and OB (doing c-sections) and they work in Trauma, plus they are taking beeper call. Ortho, neuro, and general trauma consists of 5% of total cases. 1 CRNA works inhouse for OB and 1 on beeper back up, with 1 MD also on beeper backup every day. Doc will do backup beeper call 1:4. Credentialing takes 90 days EMR is Cerner. $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days. $Competitive Rate weeknight call + Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day + Premium When Called In. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
