Job Overview: Profession: PhysicianSpecialty: General Medicine/Traumatic Brain InjuryCoverage Basis: PRN (as needed), ongoingSpecialties Accepted: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&RExams: Primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, evaluating traumatic brain injury. Exams will be a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.No Prescribing, No TreatmentDMA Certification: Available (can earn CME credits). Required once privileged if not already certified.Required Tool: Use of GoniometerFamiliarity with: Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions requiredProficiency in METs testing: Evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Technology Requirement: Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs) Additional Information: This locum opportunity is on a PRN basis, providing flexibility for physicians seeking an ongoing commitment.Physicians must be Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R to ensure the highest standards of care.Exams are primarily interview-based with a focus on assessing traumatic brain injuries and a mix of general medicine conditions.No prescribing or treatment is required, allowing physicians to focus on comprehensive evaluations.DMA certification is available, offering an opportunity to earn CME credits.Use of a Goniometer is required for accurate assessments during exams.Physicians should be familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions to address a diverse range of patient needs.Proficiency in METs testing is necessary for evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accurate and standardized reporting.Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion, streamlining the documentation process.Evaluations will be completed in VES's provider portal, with records reviewed to maintain quality standards.We are actively seeking more than five dedicated providers to join our team.
