OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Colorado Springs, CO We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position near Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a flexible schedule while providing essential care in both clinical and on-call settings. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering the chance to make a significant impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including both obstetrics and gynecology, in a clinic setting.Manage 12 exam rooms with support from a well-trained office ancillary staff, including 1:1 MA coverage, a sonographer, three front desk personnel, and a surgical scheduler.Perform and oversee lab tests and ultrasounds, working closely with the onsite lab and ultrasound technicians.Handle 24-hour call duties from 7:00 AM Sunday to 7:00 AM Monday, with varying callback percentages:Weekdays: 2%Weekends: 5%OB: 20%GYN: 80%Utilize EMR systems for documentation in both clinic and hospital settings, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Schedule and Details: Clinic Hours:Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM 4:30 PMFriday: 9:00 AM 3:30 PM24-Hour Call: Sunday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM.Location: Near Colorado Springs, CO.Start Date: ASAP.End Date: Ongoing, through August 2025.Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital call.Worksite Resources: Onsite lab, ultrasound performed by tech, 12 exam rooms, and a robust office ancillary staff.Competitive compensation with an hourly rate.
