Schedule and Coverage Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialedCoverage: Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirementShift Details: Day shifts, 8 hours each, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunchContract Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extensionWeekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Work Details Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory settingSupport Staff:Dedicated medical assistant for each providerReceptionist, mental health therapists, dietitiansOnsite pediatrician and healthcare administrator for supportAmount of Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per weekPatients Per Day: Up to 21 patients; the number may vary based on cancellations, but the environment is typically high-volume and fast-pacedPatient Population: Newborns to geriatrics; the provider should be comfortable working with all age groupsEMR System: EPICSkills Required:Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision after an initial one-week orientationExpected to begin patient care by day 3 of the assignment Job Requirements Board Certification: Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in PediatricsLicense: Active Washington state license required; non-licensed candidates will not be consideredDEA: Active Washington DEA requiredCertifications: Specific certifications, such as BLS and ACLS, may be required and will be discussed during the credentialing processMinimum Experience: Must have a clean background with no malpractice history and experience with the EPIC EMR systemThis position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to work in a supportive and diverse environment near Mineral, WA.
