Bangor, Maine: A 400-bed regional tertiary care center seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join a well-established, hospital-employed team in Maines third largest city. You will take over a 100% established elective practice performing at least 500 surgeries annually with no ER/trauma call.This physician-led, nonprofit medical center is part of Maines second-largest health system, serving more than 500,000 residents across northern and eastern Maine. The hospital is a Level II trauma center and home to an unopposed Family Medicine Residency, offering teaching opportunities for interested physicians.Join a collegial group of five orthopedic surgeons with subspecialties in arthroplasty, foot & ankle, shoulder, and sports medicine, supported by five full-time PAs, surgical techs, hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and outstanding nursing staff. Additional support includes physical and occupational therapy, wound care, and athletic trainers.
