Adelphi is seeking qualified Wound Care Physician who can provide wound care services to patients at a facility in Richmond, Texas. Responsibilities: Provide wound care services and to treat RSSLC residents for all spectrums of skin integrity in the inpatient and outpatient setting.Visit facility to see individuals and provide specialized treatment and collaborate with facility's PCPs and nurses for wound care management.Manage pressure ulcers, infectious wounds, injury wounds,or any wounds that have failed improvement with primary care management.Services to be performed in a timely manner and as necessary for the health and welfare of patients.Come to the facility to assess the patient on a weekly basis or as needed.All services must meet the standard required by the facility's Medical Director.Deliver high quality wound care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities served by the facility in accordance with current accepted medical practices.Be knowledgeable of methods and procedures in general medicine and of the principle of development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment.Be skilled in the care and treatment of patients and in the use of medical diagnostics and wound care services.
