Title: PI Field Engineer Pay Rate: $45.00/Hour Employment Type: Temp - Hire Schedule: 7am - 4pm or 8am-5pm Monday-Friday Onsite Location: Pittsburgh PA Job Code: ALSTOMJP Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated PI Field Engineer to work on-site with our client a leading global transportation solutions company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Summary: As a Product Introduction Engineer you will work to define and deliver Testing and Commissioning procedures tools and facilities in accordance with customer acceptance criteria. You will work on performance measurements which includes ensuring our test procedures are safe monitoring the amount of rework based on test procedures with respect to the allocated budget and ensuring that the work is completed on time. Responsibilities: Developing a clear understanding of the Customer Acceptance Criteria Managing the development and supply of test procedures facilities and tools for RS sites and depots. Ensuring that test procedures and tools configuration are managed during the project lifecycle. Defining and optimizing the Standard Operating Procedures with reference time and monitor deviations Implementing REX (Return of Experience) from Test & Commissioning phase of the project. Supporting the T&C Operations team for the implementation and execution of the Testing Procedures Ensuring T&C procedures. Comply with EHS Policy and Site EHS Management System. Participating in EHS activities on shop floor. Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Control onboard communications & network systems within process industry railways or factory automation. Fluent in English language Preferred Qualifications: Good knowledge of IT Tools and smart devices Familiarity with high-risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements. Previous work experience in the rail industry and/or specific educational studies in this field are preferred. Have a good technical knowledge of electrical electronic mechanical and networks domains. Understanding of Lean approach for Industrialization Result-driven mindset. Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders. Proven Aptitude for problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environments. Education: Bachelors degree in engineering or related field is required Equivalent combination of education and experience maybe considered. Tekberry Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
