Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of pizzas using both traditional and modern recipes. You should have a strong understanding of pizza dough, toppings, oven techniques, and food safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to standardized recipes and customer specifications.Operate pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric) and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure high standards are met at all times.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, cooking stations, and kitchen.Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders.Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredients and minimizing waste.Handle special customer requests and dietary needs professionally and courteously.Participate in cleaning and maintenance schedules as required.Qualifications:Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong attention to detail and consistency.Excellent time management and multitasking skills.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
