Plant Controller at dormakaba Austria

POSITION OVERVIEWdormakaba is seeking a Plant Controller based in Chino CA. This position is hybrid and will partner with the operations and supply chain teams to provide critical financial support to the plant in Chino. The Plant Controller will be responsible for all the month end closing procedures budgeting and forecasting and other critical financial duties.HIRING SALARY RANGE:Base Salary$110000 - $140000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.) plus Short Term Incentive 15% (STI). Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.WHAT YOU WILL DOExecute monthly quarterly and year-end accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial resultsPrepare detailed recurring analysis of income statements and balance sheetsProvide meaningful variance explanations partnering with the Operations Team covering driver base variance analysisPerform annual budget standard cost updates and planning processes ensuring integrity of the budgeting and forecasting of Cost of Goods SoldWork with the operations team to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals and integrate those into the 12-month rolling forecast cadenceServe as a liaison with external auditors collaborate with internal auditing and drive complianceWHAT WE REQUIREBachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceMBA and/or CPA preferredMinimum 3-5 years of experience as Plant Controller or in similar leadership role within Accounting and FinanceWorking knowledge in manufacturing environment with standard based accounting systemExperience in a fast-paced complex and collaborative environmentWHAT WE PREFERSAP knowledgeMBA and/or CPAWHAT WE OFFERTaking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical Dental Vision Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
