Plant Electrical & Controls TechnicianLocation: Stockton CAWhy Youll Love This RoleHands-on impact keeping high-speed packaging lines running safely and efficiently.Ownership of both power and control systemsPLC troubleshooting to 3phase distribution.Direct influence on uptime product quality and team success.Pay Shift and Benefits$36.44/hour starting pay3rd Shift: 11:00pm 7:30amBenefits: Medical Dental Vision; prescription coverage; 401(k) with company match; New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details); healthcare and dependent care FSAs; corporate discountsCore ResponsibilitiesUse electrical prints and wiring diagrams to install commission and repair equipment and facility systems.Troubleshoot and service motors pumps conveyors belts fans and related mechanical assemblies.Perform lubrication cleaning alignment and mechanical adjustments to restore performance.Execute major electrical tasks: 3phase/440V work PLC fault finding new equipment hookups circuit replacement and testing.Diagnose faults in wiring switches motors and components with ammeter ohmmeter voltmeter test lamp and megger.Replace switches sockets and other electrical devices; remove/replace transformers and lighting fixtures.Apply lockout/tagout and all safety procedures without exception.Communicate repair status and recurring issues to production leadership and maintenance supervisors.Operate tools and shop equipment required to complete work orders.Fabricate and repair parts using minor machining and gas/electric welding.Cover both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting independently during off-shifts.Develop comprehensive knowledge of production and facility service systems.Qualifications5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in automated manufacturing.Two-year electrical degree or comparable education preferred (not mandatory).Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.Basic computer literacy for PMs work orders and diagnostics.History of working withand positively influencingteams.Training in lockout/tagout procedures.Your ToolkitStrengths: PLC troubleshooting equipment diagnostics 120/208/240/480V systems motor replacement/repair/maintenance electrical troubleshooting industrial electrical expertise.Technologies: Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) conveyor systems.Grow With UsPactiv Evergreen now part of Novolex manufactures food beverage and specialty packaging for customers across foodservice delivery processing grocery/retail and industrial markets.
