DescriptionThe Plant Engineering Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain proper functionality and efficiency. This position is responsible for the researching and developing new designs and projects to improve manufacturing processes proposing budgets for projects and overseeing all the activities related to each project.Additional InformationMonday - Friday10% TravelThis position is eligible for health benefits such as medical dental and vision coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) disability coverage security retirement and saving include a generous time away from work package including personal leave paid parental leave medical leave vacation and holidays.Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.ResponsibilitiesPropose and manage budgets for projects which includes capital projectsPlan and execute strategies for completing projects on timeResearch and develop designs and productsManage and develop Maintenance and Engineering departmentPartner with various departments and leadership to ensure support of projectsProvide clear and concise instructions and training as neededQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma 5-S Lean Manufacturing Transactional Lean etc.Must have a bachelors degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineeringMust have at least three (3) years of work experience in an engineering functionPreferred Qualifications:Have a bachelors degree or higher in EngineeringHave at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s) supervising others or leading teamsHave prior work experience using timekeeping systemsHave at least three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facilityHave at least three (3) years of strategic planning for Capital ProjectsRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Hospitality Experience,Go,Management Experience,React,Redux,Node.js,AWS,Mechanical Engineering,Team Management,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Distributed Systems Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
