Plant Support Specialist
ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary objective of this position is to coordinate accounts payable, payroll and plant reporting.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Handle and record all receipts and verify the accuracy of related invoices and process them for payment.
- Month end close ensuring all Pcard transactions have booked, all T&E expenses have also been processed, and accrue any monthly expenses not received
- Prepare various financial accounting reconciliation, analytical, and statistical reports.
- Manage & Assemble relevant accounting & procurement data and compiles information as directed to meet deadlines.
- Create the proper purchase order type according to the buy (utilities, services, etc.)
- Plant Champion of SAP Payroll System, bi weekly approval process and provide backup support to other approvers, Plant Champion for Employee Blink Communication App.
- Maintain Employee, Regulatory, and vendor files.
- Respond to vender inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Process check requests, rush payments, and wire transfer, and non AR checks to the lock box.
- Rental & lease tracking. Purchase requisitions and receiving.
- Direct vendor creations, changes, deletions and extensions to the relevant Procurement Specialist for consideration.Facilitate all intercompany transactions for cost and inventory.
- Onboard new employees.
- Assist with coordination and execution of monthly plant meeting and safety luncheon.
- Creates all correspondence, forms and reports. Copies, routes and distributes correspondence and reports as requested. Files and retrieves documents, records and reports. Maintains records and management systems.
- Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, updating department phone lists, etc.
- Gather, Prepare and submit accident, injury and employment data as required by MSHA.
- Employee and community event planning.
- Manage employee safety supplies, boots and glasses.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
