The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing large-scale complex platform environments. This role requires both hands-on engineering and strategic oversight to ensure platform stability scalability and performance. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture design and deployment of enterprise-level platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams ensuring best practices in coding deployment and platform management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform solutions with business applications and infrastructure. Monitor and optimize platform performance security and availability. Develop automation CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions to streamline operations. Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency. Define platform standards policies and governance to maintain operational excellence. Troubleshoot complex platform issues and lead incident response efforts when necessary. Prepare documentation reports and presentations for leadership on platform strategy performance and risk. Required Skills and Qualifications 12 years of experience in platform engineering systems architecture or related roles. Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and virtualization technologies. Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows server environments networking and storage systems. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell Bash Terraform Ansible). Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with monitoring logging and observability tools to ensure platform health. Knowledge of security best practices compliance standards and risk management.
