Your contributions will be deployed to customers and thanks to Onshapes agile release cycle youll likely see your work in production before your internship ends.Your TeamYoull join the Onshape Platform team which builds the highly scalable and robust infrastructure that powers Onshape. The team operates within a mature agile and data-driven engineering culture that values innovation iteration and continuous improvement.Interns are treated as full-fledged team members with responsibilities and expectations similar to those of full-time engineers.Your Day-to-DayDevelop new code to enhance the Onshape platformCollaborate with UX designers to define functionalityParticipate in code reviews as both reviewer and revieweeTroubleshoot and fix bugs in both new and existing codeBasic QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering Software Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related fieldComfortable with at least one of the following programming languages: Java or CExperience working on a software engineering teamExposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud PlatformPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
