PLC Controls Engineer (AutoCAD Exp. Preferred) at Latitude

A well-established systems integrator is seeking a Control Panel Design Engineer with strong project management capabilities and advanced PLC skills. The organization specializes in the design and implementation of PLC-based control and instrumentation systems for both industrial and municipal clients with a significant focus on water and wastewater applications.ResponsibilitiesManage projects from conception to completion ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.Design control panels using AutoCAD 2D including panel layouts and wiring diagrams.Prepare and assemble project documentation such as cut sheets bills of materials and submittal packages.Program PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems across various platforms (e.g. Schneider Electric Control Expert Allen-Bradley Studio5000 Siemens Simatic GE).Perform onsite system startup testing troubleshooting and commissioning activities.Provide post-startup support and service maintaining strong client communication and responsiveness.Collaborate effectively within a small cross-functional engineering team and comfortably wear multiple hats.QualificationsProven PLC programming experience with one or more leading platforms (Schneider Electric Allen-Bradley Siemens GE).Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D is highly preferred.Knowledge of power distribution equipment including MCCs VFDs and starters.Familiarity with control panel components such as relays timers and pilot devices is a plus.Understanding of instrumentation and controls used in the water/wastewater industry is advantageous.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and self-prioritize.$90000 - $120000 a year#LAT Key Skills Abinitio,Digital Electronics,Flight Operations,Computer Software,Creative Production,Banking & Finance Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
