Plumbing Foreman

Lead and supervise plumbing crews on new construction projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, on schedule, on budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and plumbing codes - supporting the company's mission to "Protect the Health of the Nation."
Certification:
- Valid Maryland driver's license (required)
- Maryland Journeyman Plumber's License (required)
- Maryland Master Plumber's License (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Proven ability to lead, schedule, and motivate a plumbing crew
- Expert proficiency installing, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and lay out work from blueprints and plumbing schematics
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and inspection requirements
- Ability to plan material and labor needs and manage to a project budget and schedule
- Skilled with hand and power tools used in plumbing
- Strong communication, coordination, and conflict-resolution skills across trades
- Working knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety management
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or foreman role
- New construction plumbing experience highly preferred
Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the plumbing crew on assigned projects. Lay out work from blueprints and schematics and assign tasks to crew members. Ensure all installations meet project specifications, plumbing codes, and company quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to keep work on schedule and avoid conflicts. Monitor labor hours, productivity, and material usage against the project budget; communicate needs and variances to management. Enforce all OSHA, national, and local safety standards on the jobsite. Mentor, train, and develop mechanics, apprentices, and helpers. Conduct quality-control inspections and correct deficiencies before inspection. Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and documentation. Manage proper inventory, care, and security of assigned tools and equipment.
Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a safety-first mindset. Hold the crew accountable to schedule, quality, and conduct standards. Participate in and lead training to advance the team's skills. Represent the company positively with clients, inspectors, coworkers, and contractors. Preference will be given to military veterans.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
