This position maintains peace and order within the boundaries of the PBP Reservation, while protecting the PBPN community and all Tribal and Government property within the community. Provide for public safety by responding to emergencies, protecting people and property, enforcing motor vehicle and criminal laws, and promoting good community relations.To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Minimum Requirements:Experience: One year of employment and/or training of any type. Must be 21 years of age.Education: High School Diploma/GED. Successful completion of Kansas Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy or an equivalent Federal or State approved academy and certify as a Full-Time Kansas Law Enforcement Officer within 12 months of hire.
