Job Description

DescriptionThe Policy Search Associate is responsible for effectively and accurately executing policy document requests submitted by various Chubb entities including but not limited to Brandywine Claims and Reinsurance; Legal and North American Claims.The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Meet department standards for time service and qualityPrioritize assigned requests according to process guidelinesAnalyze request for clarity completeness and accuracy; reaching out to the customer as requiredPerform the appropriate research steps and document results as per proceduresPerform document copying policy assembly and quality reviews as requiredBe available to provide accurate and honest testimony relative to the policy search in the event of a depositionEvaluate processes for improvement opportunitiesWork with legal counselKeep procedures up to dateAccurately record/gather data to compile reports as neededAssist with/perform other duties within the team as neededInteract with team members and customers in a respectful and professional mannerQualificationsThe ideal candidate should demonstrate:Critical Thinking/Problem-Solving skills using an organized logical approachDesire for Continuous Learning to expand expertise develop new skills and professional growthInitiative to do more than is required or expectedAdaptability to re-direct focus in response to changing circumstancesResults Orientation to effectively execute on plans driving for results and taking accountability for outcomesValues Orientation by doing the right thing for the company colleagues and customers in an ethical and professional mannerExcellent attention to detailExcellent organization and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service focusAbility to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork high motivation positive behavior and efforts to achieve goals and objectivesThe ideal candidate should have the following knowledge skills and abilities:Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentWindows based PC knowledge focusing on Excel proficiency and data analysisEffective research skillsHigh capacity for learning and retaining new skillsAnalytical with good decision making/problem solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal direct supervisionmay be covered aboveStrong interpersonal skillsDesired QualificationsKnowledge of policy documents and various lines of businessKnowledge/Experience of various legacy ACE and legacy Chubb systems/applications/inquiriesInsurance knowledge with a focus on policy forms and endorsementsDemonstrated track record of success in current and prior positions producing accurate and timely resultsRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Maitre,JAVA/J2EE,Invasive Cardiology,Fire Alarm Installation,Evening Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
