As a Pool Receptionist at MGM Grand, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for guests enjoying one of the resort's premier pool experiences. In this role, you will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties while delivering friendly, professional service in alignment with MGM Resorts International standards. You will greet guests, manage multi-line phones, assist with inquiries and amenity reservations using UrVenue, process credit card payments, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all pool amenities, locations, and hours of operation. Working closely with management to address guest needs and concerns, you will help ensure a smooth, organized, and inviting reception areasetting the stage for a seamless and memorable poolside experience.
The starting rate: $14.00 hourly
The day-to-day:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department
- Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs
- Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary
- Ensure that the Receptionist area is clean and looks neat for all incoming guests
- Inform management of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues
The ideal candidate:
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holiday required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a receptionist working in a pool or similar resort setting preferred
