Pay: $20.00/ hr

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Position Hours: 20 -25 Hours/week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/SAFETYChecks and replaces exterior lighting on a regular basis
Maintains awareness of proper safety precautions at all timesConstantly observes condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditionsNeeds to be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offsEnsures that storage areas always remain locked when not in

GENERAL

Physically walks the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris, cigarette butts and pet droppings from the It is especially critical that the following areas remain neat and free of litter at all times

Performs "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments on a daily Removes all abandoned furniture, trash, boxes. Transfers to dumpster or storage area, whichever is applicableTransfers trash and other items left outside of dumpster into Pick-up and sweep area. Keeps dumpster/compactor doors closed on windy daysDetails property on a regular Cleans and rakes shrub areas; shovels mud when necessary. Use blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brushRepairs and replaces windows, screens, sliding glass doors, Performs routine maintenance on property as requested by manageAssists with various physical tasks as directed; g., tearing down fences, digging post holes, carrying abandoned furniture, etcAssists with "make-ready" duties when requested by the manager or senior maintenanceHelps clean and maintain storage and shopPerforms interior and exterior painting duties when Carries buckets of paint from storage area to work site.Completes minor and routine service requests when requested by manager and/or senior maintenance technician.
