Our client a leading financial firm is seeking a Portfolio Management Engineer to serve as a key liaison between clients portfolio management trading and custodial partners. This hybrid role blends finance technology and client engagement ideal for someone passionate about leveraging technology to optimize portfolio management and trade execution. Key Responsibilities Act as the bridge between portfolio management trading teams and custodians to ensure seamless operations and client experience.Implement platform enhancements and process improvements based on stakeholder input and market best practices.Collaborate with portfolio construction teams to align investment strategies with client goals.Serve as a client-facing contact for portfolio management trading and performance reporting.Provide technical insight and feedback to enhance platform functionality (no coding required at production scale). Qualifications 2 years of experience in equities portfolio management or investment operations.Experience working with custodian platforms (e.g. Schwab Fidelity).Familiarity with order management systems and algorithmic trade execution.Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline; Computer Science background a plus.Proficient in Python able to write and understand clean modular code and create basic notebooks.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
