We will foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic, and population research.Position Summary:This postdoctoral research associate position will express and purify human glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), perform in vitro assembly assays and analyze filament structure by transmission and cryo electron microscopyMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:PhD or similar degree in Molecular Medicine or similar fieldRequired Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:Experience with gfap expression, purification, assembly and analysisPreferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:An ideal candidate will have had recent post-doctoral experience in a basic science research laboratory or clinical research. A strong publication record is advantageous.
