His work has been supported by leading agencies including NASA NSF DOE and USDA underscoring the broad impact and importance of his research. Dr. Nazaripouyas expertise lies in power grid modernization with emphasis on enhancing sustainability and resilience through the integration of distributed energy resources power electronics artificial intelligence optimization methods and smart grid technologies.Assistant Professor Ardeshir Moftakhari from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering brings complementary expertise in energy systems design and analysis. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Architectural and Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on grid-interactive district energy systems optimal design of thermal and power systems and building energy efficiency.
