Position SummaryThe Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts Sciences at Indiana University consists of a well-rounded research community with cutting-edge expertise in a wide variety of modern disciplines including analytical chemistry organic chemistry inorganic chemistry physical chemistry materials chemistry and biochemistry. Job Summary: Collaborative postdoctoral research will be conducted on a range of gas-phase chemical systems selected to explore the boundaries between valence-bound non-valence-bound and temporary anion states. Studies may be extended to metal oxide cluster systems. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations on the project including maintaining equipment ensure forward progress on data acquisition and manuscript preparation contribute intellectually to the project mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
