Job Title: Power and Performance Validation Engineer Work Location: Austin TX 78728 Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Temporary Assignment Job Type: Onsite Job Description: We are looking for an engineer with experience in power or performance attainment of features of CPU GPU or APUs. This person should thrive in a matrixed environment spanning multiple countries and time zones. JOB DUTIES: In this role this engineer will be part of a highly technical team that develops test plans completes functional & electrical validation & debugs issues for new processor silicon interface features with strong focus power and performance attainment and optimization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute power and performance studies to support business development. Validate and tune product features post-silicon. Set up and debug systems under test. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs GPUs or APUs. Familiarity with graphics core and gaming-focused workloads. Familiarity with the use of data acquisition and thermal equipment. Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI Sigma or similar. Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed and multi-site technical organization. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3 years of related experience; or Masters plus at least 1 years directly related experience (an advanced degree will be considered a plus) TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
