Job Title: Power BI Lead Experience: 12 Years Location: Lansing MI Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities Power BI Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. Create data models DAX measures and visualizations to support business insights and decision-making. Optimize reports for performance scalability and usability. Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server ServiceNow Salesforce JIRA Excel SharePoint Azure and APIs. Power Automate Build and manage automated workflows to streamline repetitive tasks and approval processes. Integrate Power Automate flows with Office 365 Dynamics 365 SharePoint Microsoft Teams and other third-party systems. Monitor troubleshoot and optimize flow performance to ensure reliability. Power Apps Design and develop custom business applications using canvas and model-driven apps. Implement role-based security data validation rules and responsive user interfaces. Connect applications to Dataverse SharePoint SQL and other connectors. Maintain support and enhance existing Power Apps solutions. AI & Analytics Participate in designing AI-based solutions leveraging Agentic AI Generative AI for analytics and AI Builder capabilities. Integrate AI outputs and predictive insights into Power BI dashboards. General Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements define solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes. Ensure all solutions meet security compliance and scalability standards. Provide end-user training documentation and ongoing support. Stay updated with Power Platform enhancements new features and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent professional experience. 12 years of total IT experience with 3 years of hands-on experience working with Power BI Power Automate and Power Apps. Strong expertise in DAX Power Query (M) and data modeling. Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem. Experience integrating data from APIs and external data sources. Hands-on experience with Power Virtual Agents Dataverse and AI Builder. Strong analytical problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
