Elevate Air Transportation: Shape the Future of Amazons Logistics NetworkAre you passionate about revolutionizing air transportation Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that will transform Amazons middle-mile transportation network and enhance customer experiences.Key job responsibilities- Manage comprehensive program activities for fleet transactions working closely with stakeholders across the organization- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for Life Limited Parts (LLP) availability and maintenance planning- Optimize vendor relationships and performance through detailed metrics and proactive management- Drive process improvements using data-driven insights and technical expertise- Coordinate complex fleet acceptance purchase and return activities with precision and strategic vision- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% - 20% annually.A day in the lifeYour day will be filled with strategic planning cross-functional collaboration and technical problem-solving. Youll be at the heart of Amazon Airs fleet management coordinating critical initiatives that ensure seamless aircraft operations and parts availability.About the teamWe are a collaborative and forward-thinking group dedicated to pushing the boundaries of air logistics. Our team is committed to continuous improvement technical excellence and creating scalable solutions that support Amazons global transportation infrastructure.- 3 years of program or project management experience- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience- Bachelors degree- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance requirements- Proficiency in FAA/EASA certification and documentation processes- Experience planning maintenance workscopes for engines/APUs- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3 years of driving process improvements experience- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization- Masters degree- In-depth knowledge of maintenance workscopes for engines and auxiliary power units- Experience developing and implementing technical improvement initiativesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status disability or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $77200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
