The successful candidate will be detail oriented have a proven track record and a positive work ethic. Job SummaryQTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program engineering and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for converting paper architecture products into digital models delivering model artifacts and collaborating with both internal program and external MDA stakeholders within an MBSE modeling environment to ensure accurate system representations and behavior. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: Will support the development of architecture models manage model configuration and serve as a key contact for integration with other modeling teams and environments outside of the program (e.g. models provided or developed by other missile defense partner organizations)Mentor junior systems engineering team members to enhance their skills within the departmentWork will be directed by the Digital Engineering Team (DET) Lead and DET Architecture Model LeadCoordinate with other technical leads product owners Program management and government customers to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and within resource limitsReview technical content and serve as a technical liaison with MDA counterparts as necessaryWill actively participate in Agile development activities such as iteration planning and status updates Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science Systems Engineering Mathematics Physics or a related area from an accredited university with at least 8 years of experience; or a Masters degree in a STEM-related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a PhD in a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience Required Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesMust have at least 4 years of experience building digital architecture modelsExperience connecting architecture models with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements (DOORS)-managed requirementsProven experience in developing and adjusting all viewpoints within the DoDAF 2.0 modeling frameworkExperience as an architecture model developer creating model artifacts aligned with SysMOD and OOSEM methodologiesDeveloping modeling using the DoDAF 2.0 modeling framework within the CAMEO development environmentProficient understanding of MBSE standards to guide model developmentWorking knowledge of DOORS for requirement management and experience linking requirements to the architecture modelExperience delivering data products from a modeling platform using tools such as Collaborator VTL Scripts Webify Tom Sawyer and other similar toolsDemonstrated working knowledge of product development within a secure environment following the Security Classification Guideline (SCG)Solid understanding of general systems engineering practices and tools such as Agile using Atlassian JIRA Confluence and SharePointExcellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-motivated and customer-oriented Desired Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesINCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) CertificationObject Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF) Certification Experience integrating DOORS and CAMEO through TWC Datahub is strongly preferredCustom plug-ins and other modeling tool customizations Security ClearanceCandidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
