With 7 practice locations and plans to add an additional site, our team of 20 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers delivers state-of-the-art cardiovascular care focused on outstanding patient outcomes. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Administrator / Director of Operations to serve as the operational leader of our growing multi-site cardiology group. This executive-level role is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of all practice locations, as well as the strategic development and execution of our expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, physician-led environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient and provider experience.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

▪    Provide overall leadership and direction for the efficient operation of a growing multi-site cardiology practice across 7+ locations

▪    Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring high-quality patient experiences and smooth workflow across all sites

▪    Manage a diverse team including 20 MDs, 10 NP/PAs, an HR professional, and an accountant

▪    Conduct individual and team goal setting, performance planning, and evaluations

▪    Develop and implement process improvements to enhance workflows, compliance, and overall operational efficiency


Strategic Planning & Business Development

▪    Develop and execute key strategies to support the continued growth and development of the practice

▪    Lead expansion planning and implementation for new practice locations

▪    Analyze areas of growth, profitability, and opportunity, providing actionable recommendations to physician management

▪    Lead physician and APP recruitment efforts to attract top talent and ensure practice stability and growth

▪    Oversee marketing activities and leverage practice marketing resources to strengthen community presence


Financial Management

▪    Develop, implement, and monitor the annual operating budget, ensuring all financial goals are met

▪    Analyze financial data and provide regular reporting and insights to physician leadership

▪    Oversee capital purchases and resource allocation in alignment with strategic priorities

▪    Identify cost efficiencies and revenue enhancement opportunities across the organization


Compliance & Quality

▪    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accrediting body regulations, guidelines, and standards

▪    Implement, communicate, and monitor group-approved policies, procedures, and standards

▪    Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to achieve the Quadruple Aim: better patient experience, improved population health, reduced costs, and improved provider well-being

▪    Establish performance measures, assess accomplishments, and drive continuous quality improvement


Qualifications

Required

▪    Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a closely related field

▪    Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or specialty practice setting

▪    Demonstrated ability to lead at all levels of an organization, from front-line staff to physician partners

▪    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively

▪    Proven financial acumen including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting

▪    Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, healthcare industry standards, and accreditation requirements


Preferred

▪    Direct experience in cardiology or another high-complexity specialty practice

▪    Track record of successfully leading practice growth, expansion, or new site development

▪    Experience with physician recruitment and provider relations

▪    Proficiency with healthcare management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics tools

▪    Fellowship or certification in medical practice management (e.g., FACMPE, CMPE) is a plus

▪    Competitive compensation: $130,000 – $165,000 annually, depending on experience
