Practice Administrator
Gulfstream Staffing has been retained by a thriving medical office in Jupiter, FL. We are seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to lead daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable practice management. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with a solid background in healthcare administration, human resources, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the medical office, including scheduling, staffing, patient flow, billing, and compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through efficient billing practices, patient retention, and optimized scheduling.
- Manage human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate operational and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee insurance contracting, credentialing, and reimbursement processes, ensuring accurate claims submission and timely payments.
- Manage self-pay collections and establish best practices for patient financial communication.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain a patient-centered, team-oriented culture.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecast expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in medical office management or practice administration.
- Proven ability to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of insurance billing, coding, and reimbursement, as well as self-pay workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
