Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNow offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 payable after 90 days, $250 payable after 6 months, $500 payable after 1 year).Job Summary:We are a family-owned, fourth-generation company seeking a reliable and hardworking Precast Concrete Burial Vault Manufacturer to join our team. This position is responsible for producing high-quality concrete burial vaults in a precast manufacturing facility, including batching, pouring, finishing, and painting concrete products. The ideal candidate has experience working with concrete, follows safety protocols, and maintains a clean and efficient production environment. Competitive starting pay and benefits package including 100% employer-paid health and vision insurance and 401k profit sharing program with company match after 90 days employment.Key Responsibilities:Batch concrete using an automated batching system to meet mix design specifications for burial vaults.Set up and prepare forms for concrete burial vaults, including installing reinforcement, applying form oil, and ensuring proper alignment.Pour and finish concrete into molds using hand tools, vibrators, and equipment to ensure a smooth and properly compacted finish.Strip forms once the concrete has cured sufficiently, ensuring product integrity and safety.Perform quality control checks on all products to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.Paint and personalize burial vaults according to customer specifications, which may include applying base coats, decorative finishes, decals, emblems, nameplates, or custom artwork.Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and productive environment.Assist with repairs, painting, and sealing of burial vaults as required.Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve issues efficiently.Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of concrete materials.Qualifications:Experience in concrete or precast manufacturing is a plus, but on-the-job training will also be provided.Ability to read and understand mix designs, production instructions, and safety documentation.Familiarity with concrete batching systems, hand tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes is a plus.Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in dusty or outdoor conditions.Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.Work Environment:Industrial precast concrete manufacturing facility with exposure to dust, noise, weather, and heavy machinery.Full-time position with standard hours; overtime work may be required during peak production periods
