Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPreK Assistant TeacherWhat You’ll DoAs a Assistant Teacher, you’ll guide young learners from infancy to school age, preparing them for kindergarten through age-appropriate lessons, activities, and daily routines. Using our provided curriculum, you’ll nurture children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth while creating a classroom where they feel safe, respected, and inspired to explore.You’ll oversee classroom management, mentor junior staff, and partner with families through open communication and progress updates. From learning time to mealtime, potty training to playtime—you’ll be at the heart of each child’s early learning journey.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activitiesFoster a positive, structured, and welcoming classroom environmentSupport daily care routines (meals, potty training, diapering, nap time)Observe, document, and share children’s developmental progressPartner with families through updates, reports, and conferencesEnsure health, hygiene, and safety standards are metLead and guide junior classroom staffStay current through training and professional developmentWhat We’re Looking ForCDA credential or degree in Early Childhood EducationExperience working with children in a learning environmentStrong communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsA genuine passion for inspiring young mindsPay$10.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on education and experience
