Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDineAmic Hospitality is seeking Prep Cooks that will help ensure the skillful preparation of all menu items. This position plays a critical role in setting the kitchen up for success during service by having items properly prepared and organized. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task efficiently and maintain a positive and professional approach with team members. What You Will DoFollow the prep list guidelines created by the Chef to meet business demandsLabel and stock all ingredients on shelves so that they are organized and easily accessibleMeasure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cookingPrepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.Assist in preparing simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking outtrash etc.Maintain and comply with state sanitation/health regulationsPerform other kitchen duties as assignedWhat You Need to Have 2+ years restaurant experience working in any form in a kitchen; experience in a fine dining establishment and/or high-volume restaurant preferredDegree from a food service program, culinary school or equivalent preferredKnowledge of all local health department requirements for safe food handling and sanitation standards; Non-expired Food Handlers Certification requiredA passion for quality and respect for team members and guestsAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to move, bend, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance; Stand or Walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift; Complete tasks that require repetitive motionWhat We Offer Food & Beverage DiscountsBenefit Plan Options (Medical, Dental and Vision, 401K + Match)Employee Incentive Program for ReferralsCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive PayCommuter BenefitsDineAmic Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
