Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Fry Cook:You are passionate about cooking. You prepare food with care, ensuring quality is served to each guest, every time.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food itemsPrepare fryers and prep items in a timely matterDemonstrate expertise when it comes to timing when fried food need to be readyMaintain fresh oil and dispose of used oilCook all food items according to the specified cooking times to ensure they are safe for customer consumptionFollow proper knife handling proceduresEnsure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet company standardsPrepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storingWash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are metAssist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed itemsQualifications:Must be 18 years of ageMust have a Handlers certification before employment beginsMust display exceptional customer service and communication skillsExcellent verbal communication skillsPunctual and reliable attendance is required1 plu(s) years of experience in a high-volume establishment is requiredMust be well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standardsMust have attention for detail, and a passion for serving GuestsPositive and professional attitude in every aspect of the positionPhysical requirements: Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time; capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.
