Job DescriptionJob DescriptionImmediate opening for part-time prep cook! Come and join our dedicated school community and cook for our day and residential students on our school campus in Chester County. Position is 25 hours a week from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to FridayResponsibilities include:Prepping and cooking meals for 80+ people daily.Preparing meals from scratch following a menu planSome meal planning in coordination with Head ChefAccommodating food allergies and special dietsMaintaining a hygienic, clean, organized workspace as determined by the guidelines of keeping a commercial kitchen Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards Oversees food storage; checks labels and dates.Qualifications:Cooking experienceCertification to run a commercial kitchen in Pennsylvania preferredExcellent time management skill Kind personality and temperament Ability to work as a team memberReliable transportation High school diploma required. PA State Police, child abuse history clearances, fingerprinting and TB clearance required.
