As a member of The Great Greek Family, youll enjoy a fun, fast paced work environment in one of the fastest growing franchises in the United States.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Prep Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant.Prep Cooks are tasked with preparing all the ingredients that will eventually be turned into dishes by the line cooks. That means portioning meat, poultry, fish, and seafood; shredding or slicing cheese; preparing sauces and dressings; chopping and slicing produce; and labelling, dating and storing everything as well as many other tasks.Duties and Responsibilities:Follow Operations Manual which houses all the recipes necessarySet up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipmentsMaintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessaryFollow all food safety regulationsParticipate in daily kitchen opening and closing proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned by the head chef or management Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role is preferredServeSafe or Food Handlers CertificationAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressureAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
