In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in implementing Montessori-based activities and lesson plans that foster a love of learning in young children. You will support the classroom environment, encourage independence, and work closely with students to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a positive attitude, and a commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom. You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. Montessori experience is preferred but not required. It is required through state licensing that all people working with preschool age students must have completed one Early Childhood Education class.ResponsibilitiesAssist children with developing social and emotional skillsUse a range of instructional methods and learning techniquesCommunicate positively with parents and other school personnelQualifications * * Must have at least 3 Early Childhood Education Units (ECE) and must be willing to complete 12 unitsUnderstanding of child development principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelinesProblem-solving and mediation skills
