The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction. Assistant Teachers will sign a semester contract, with the initial term running fromJanuary 5, 2026 through May 31, 2026, and will have the option to renew for the next school year,August 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.We are seekingcaring, energetic, and dependable individualsto join our preschool classroom serving children ages30 months to 4 years. This is a40-hour per weekrole, with the option to select one of the following schedules:Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.DutiesAssist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementationSupport project-based learning experiences and hands-on explorationEnsure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all childrenHelp with classroom organization, materials preparation, and supervisionModel positive interactions, empathy, and respectRequirementsAssociate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related fieldpreferredCDA or willingness to obtain CDAacceptedMust meet state requirements for Assistant Teacher rolesMust successfully clear all required background and fingerprint checksPassion for early learning, collaboration, and supporting young children’s developmentBenefitsPaid U.S. holidays10-day Paid winter breakPerformance-based bonus each semester (eligible after 90 days of employment)On-the-job training in project-based learning practices and classroom support strategies
