As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you’ll work closely with a lead teacher to create a warm and engaging classroom environment. Together, you’ll guide children through age-appropriate activities that support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids and values building strong relationships with families and fellow educators.Minimum Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent.· Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.Preferred Qualifications:· Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.· CPR and First Aid certification.Responsibilities:· Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities.· Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.· Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and development.· Maintain a clean and organized classroom, including preparing materials and resources for activities.· Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.Skills:The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Organizational skills are vital for maintaining a structured classroom environment and preparing educational materials. Patience and adaptability are necessary to respond to the diverse needs of young learners effectively. Preferred skills such as knowledge of early childhood development principles will enhance the assistant's ability tosupport the lead teacher in delivering high-quality education.
