Our dedicated teachers exceed education requirements and receive ongoing training each year.Join us and grow your child care career in a supportive, enriching environment where every child’s potential is nurtured.  We currently have both full and part-time opportunities available.  Speak to a recruiter to learn more!What You Will DoImplements lesson plansHelps lead teacher complete assessments and developmental screeningsMaintains a caring, inclusive, classroom experienceMaintains a safe environment by practicing active supervisionMaintains a healthy learning environment by sanitizing materialsCreates and keeps current an account on the Ohio Professional Registry including 10 hours of Ohio Approved training annuallyCommunicates with families daily regarding their child’s progress and wellbeingMonitor children for illness and medical needs to prevent and respond to medical emergenciesRemain compliant ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules at all timesAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.QualificationsEducationCareer Pathways Level (CPL) 3, preferably with either a Child Development Associates (CDA) Credential (Required) or9 credits of college coursework in early childhood education or related field (Required)Work Experience1+ years in a licensed child care setting (Required)Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of child development (Required proficiency)Knowledge of child development and Ohio’s Child Care Licensing rules.
