(preferred)Program Development & ManagementParticipate in the planning promoting teaching/staffing and overall success of special eventsBe attentive and responsive to department and gym wide announcements calendar items and upcoming eventsAssist the Gymnastics Director in meeting the goals and vision of the department.Conduct gymnastics lessons in accordance to program needs and ensures all safety and program ratios are followedEnthusiastically assist and cooperate in ensuring all classes are adequately covered by substituting when called uponEnsure controlled class management enabling equitable time for each gymnast for each planned activityAttend department and gym-wide meetings;Be flexible with your scheduling and teach classes as requested and substitute for others when called uponSafety and Risk ManagementConducts routine checks and ensures proper maintenance of equipment and facilityReview gym and facility safety rules with new gymnastsImplements and follows training requirements in addition to ensuring proper reporting of all incidents/accidents according to risk management proceduresCustomer Service and Relationship ManagementServes as a community representative building collaborations based on trust and credibility to advance the Sweet Peas & SFBFs mission and goalsWelcome and encourage members and community in the development of programs and activitiesBuilds Relationships with program participants parents and staffInitial and continued skills assessment of each gymnast providing interval feedback to athletes and parents Compensation: $14.50 per hour We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin disability status protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
