Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $22.00 to $25.00 DOE We are seeking a part time dedicated and reliable preschool lead teacher January 2026 to June 2026 with possibilities for continued hours during summer with opportunity for full time hire for the 2026 -2027 school year. Our ideal candidate will have classroom experience along with a positive, flexible, and ready-to-learn attitude. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Hourly $22.00 to $24.00 DOE. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers is that every child will know that they are special and created in Gods image.Responsibilities:Follow a consistent classroom routineClassroom managementDevelop positive relationships with students and familiesBe able to lift a child up to 50 poundsUse creativity to implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activitiesSanitize, clean and organize the classroom at the end of the dayHighlights:Low student-to-teacher ratiosCompetitive pay with benefitsFaith-based program and environmentIndoor and outdoor playgroundsApplication Requirements: * Faith:Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church. * High School Diploma * Short Cert (20 credits)Current TB test (within one year)Cleared background checkCompleted CPR, first aid, food handlers permit and bloodborne pathogens training30 STARS hours or educational exemption, within 6 months of hireAbility to discern needs and respond appropriately, sensitively and proactivelyHigh degree of professionalismAbout Shoreline Christian School:Founded in 1952 as a parent run school from a single church, SCS celebrates its heritage while serving families from approximately 75 diverse churches in the Seattle area today.
