Preschool Maintenance- Part Time (30-39 hours)Kensington School is accepting applications for a preschool maintenance position. The right candidate will have experience working for a school or similar facility.Maintenance duties include but are not limited to: monthly carpet cleaningchanging lightbulbsfixing / assembly of toys & furniturepaintingmonthly deep cleans of flooring (classrooms bathrooms kitchen)move furniture as neededlight yard work trash pick upperform basic plumbing experienceclearing clogs adjustments to sinks and toiletsconduct minor electrical repairschanging lightbulbs outletsJob Requirements:Maintenance / Custodian experience required.Experience in a school environment preferred.Must be able to lift 40lbs or more.Must be able to work outside in a different climates.Willingness to learn hands on skillsCan complete tasks in a timely mannerable to communicate effectively while also working independentlystrong problem solving skills and attention to detailMust be able to work evenings & weekends. Flexible schedule depending on work at hand.This is a year-round position with opportunities for job growth and on-site training with special projects. Yearly annual incentives.Qualifications: - Must pass a state background check- Complete a medical form/physical report - References are requiredCompensation starts at a $20 hourly rate. This position is primarily nights and weekends.Upon hire a probationary period working in school maintenance is required to establish knowledge of the schools needs.
