At Auntie Nikkis Daycare, we believe in fostering curiosity, confidence, and creativity in every child. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and provide a high-quality early learning experience aligned with the New Mexico PreK Standards.Position OverviewAs a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Youll help cultivate a nurturing and safe classroom environment where every child feels supported and empowered to succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of a classroom for preschool-aged children.Ensure full compliance with Auntie Nikkis Daycare policies, as well as state and national health and safety regulations.Conduct ongoing developmental assessments and observations in accordance with NM PreK Standards.Develop and implement lesson plans and daily schedules that reflect NM PreK curriculum goals and the values of our program.Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.Provide consistent guidance and positive behavioral support to foster social-emotional development.Collaborate with the Director and team members to support overall program success and special initiatives.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.Previous experience in a licensed early childhood or PreK classroom setting.Must be at least 18 years of age.Certification in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention Training (required within 60 days of hire).Strong ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee childcare discountPaid holidaysPaid time off (PTO)ScheduleFull-Time | Monday FridayAt Auntie Nikkis Daycare, we are committed to creating a joyful, inclusive, and enriching learning environment.
