In 2024, Primrose School of Evergreen was voted as the best Primrose School across 525 schools in America, and were looking for passionate preschool teachers in San Jose to join our exceptional team.What Your Experience Looks like as a Primrose Teacher:Curriculum provided - With clear daily plans, necessary resources, and support so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with the childrenand spend your time outside of school focused on yourself.Carefully paired co-teacher who complements your teaching styleAssigned Support Teacher in your classroom who covers your break and planning time dailyFully stocked classroom, all materials provided by the schoolDedicated Education Coach to help you develop your skills and thrive in your roleQualifications:MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, two Curriculum classes)Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young childrenWork experience in a licensed childcare facility preferredMust meet required state background checkMust be able to work on an iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents.Responsibilities: Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learningProvides a safe, attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the childrenPlan with the Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materialsSupervise, monitor and complete continual evaluation of each childs developmental needsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities.** Pay based on experience. We may have other teaching opportunities in our Infant Toddler, Two's, and Pre-K programs.MLBC
