With a supportive leadership team and a nurturing classroom setting, youll create a joyful space where children thrive through two annual assessments, a school-year portfolio, and a fun, academic schedule.Why Choose Primrose School of Broadview Heights?Supportive Environment: Work alongside five Leadership Team Members who provide curriculum support, supply shopping, classroom observations, and dedicated planning time.Benefits for Full-Time Employees:Complimentary breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks prepared by our dedicated on-site cook.Access to a professionally crafted Primrose curriculum, supported by a full-time manager to assist with implementation.Affordable Aetna Major Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits within 30 days, with 50% of health insurance costs covered.Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year (10 days) plus 6 paid holidays, totaling up to 16 paid days off annually.Positive Culture: Check out our Google reviews to see the warm, inclusive environment praised by our families!Primary Responsibilities:Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for a group of preschoolers.Ensure compliance with all Primrose, local, state, and national regulations for child health, safety, and care.Maintain an inviting, organized classroom that fosters creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making.Provide clear expectations and positive reinforcement for childrens behavior.Perform necessary housekeeping duties for the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.Attend required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions.Uphold a professional appearance per the Primrose Employee Handbook.Assist in additional capacities as directed by the Director or designee.Desired Skills and Experience:Outgoing, creative, and energetic personality with excellent communication skills for engaging parents and children.Previous experience in a licensed childcare center, specifically with children aged 3-5.Knowledge of preschoolers social, emotional, and creative needs.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for program facilitation, child safety, and emergencies.Bachelors Degree (or progress toward one) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.Familiarity with preschool curriculum.Each Primrose school is a privately owned and operated franchise, and the respective Franchise Owner is the employer at each school.
