The Ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, loving and has a passion for working with children!Responsibilities:Implement engaging lesson plan activities from our curriculum that promote growth and development in accordance with PA standards and developmentally appropriate practices. Provide care for preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.Prepare any necessary learning materials.Foster a positive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.Document students learning progressCollaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environmentQualifications:Minimum A.A. Degree in ECE or Education; or A.A. Degree in Human Services field with 15 credits in ECE or Education.Preschool CDA Credential preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Previous experience in childcare, or babysitting is highly desirable.Minimum of 2 years working in childcare (required)Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom managementKnowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCertification in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required.The Whole Child Learning Center, Inc. is an EOP.
